Scarthin Bookshop Cafe - Cromford

AVN Score: 4.4 Cafe in shop

An old-fashioned bookshop stocking all sorts of obscure titles, with an on-site veggie and mostly organic cafe. It's a really laid back place, and the menu changes whenever they feel like it. The eggs they serve come from their own 'pet' hens.

The soups are usually vegan and cost £3.75. There were three options when we visited, and the flavours were all robust and portion size good. They also do Mushroom pate with toast, Salads, and Flapjacks. Vegan chocolate cake £2.50.

Organic juices, Teas etc. around £1. Lots of magazines to read. Open: Mon - Sat 9.30 am to 6.00 pm, (limited menu from 3pm onwards) Sun noon to 6
